TREBBIANO

The multifaceted Italian native

The Tannico collection of Trebbiano wines offers a broad overview of one of Italy's most popular white grape varieties, featuring 43 selected labels. From the excellence of Abruzzo to the interpretations of Tuscany and Umbria.

Trebbiano d'Abruzzo: the most noble expression

In Abruzzo, Trebbiano reaches its highest expression of quality, with wines that have a surprising capacity for aging. The hills of Teate and Pescara are home to historic vines which, in the hands of producers such as Masciarelli, are transformed into whites with a mineral profile, structured and with a vibrant acidity that guarantees freshness and longevity.

From Trebbiano Toscano to Spoletino: regional biodiversity

While Trebbiano Toscano offers light and immediate wines, often used in traditional Chianti blends or as a base for the precious Vin Santo, Umbria is home to the prized Trebbiano Spoletino. This native variety produces wines with a more pronounced character, with fruity and floral notes, greater structure, and interesting aging potential, as demonstrated by the interpretations of Bellafonte and Antonelli.

Versatile pairings: from the sea to the land

The versatility of Trebbiano is perfectly expressed at the table: the fresher and more immediate versions are the ideal accompaniment to seafood appetizers, light first courses, and fish main courses, while the more structured and complex interpretations, often aged in wood or macerated on the skins, pair beautifully with more elaborate dishes, white meats, and medium-aged cheeses.
