Tannico is Italy’s leading digital ecosystem dedicated to the world of wine. Founded in 2013, it combines technology, passion, and expertise to deliver a distinctive discovery and purchasing experience, becoming a key reference point for both wine enthusiasts and industry professionals.

Since 2025, Tannico has been part of CASTEL-Vins, one of the most solid and widely recognised players in the global wine landscape. Structured around three areas of excellence — winemaker, wine trader, and retailer — CASTEL-Vins represents a unique integrated model spanning production, distribution, and sales.

In this new phase, Tannico contributes its digital know-how and consumer-centric approach, helping to further connect tradition, innovation, and wine culture.

OUR BUSINESS

Tannico ships wine to 23 countries worldwide, from the United States to Japan, and serves over 300,000 customers. It represents Italy’s largest online wine cellar, with approximately 10.000 references of wines, Champagnes, and spirits, sourced from more than 400 suppliers.

Each year, over 1.5 million bottles are shipped from a fully automated warehouse of more than 6,000 m², located in Castel San Giovanni (PC) and largely powered by renewable energy.

In addition to its B2C activity, Tannico acts as a strategic partner for wine producers through two dedicated platforms: Tannico.biz, focused on distribution within the Ho.Re.Ca. channel, and WinePlatform, which develops and manages direct-to-consumer e-commerce solutions for wineries. Both divisions have experienced rapid growth, reinforcing Tannico’s role as a meeting point between technological innovation and winemaking tradition.

Over the years, Tannico has continuously innovated across every dimension of its business, reshaping the way wine is bought and sold. Today, it continues to evolve, supported by a community of more than 300,000 followers on social media, using a language that is contemporary, inclusive, and accessible.
