Greek White Wines

The Greek Wine Renaissance

From the dizzying volcanic terraces of Santorini to the cool highlands of the Peloponnese, Greek whites represent one of the most fascinating rediscoveries in the Mediterranean wine scene. The Tannico collection celebrates this millennial winemaking tradition through producers who have been able to combine unique native grape varieties with modern winemaking techniques.

The Star Grapes: Authenticity and Terroir

Assyrtiko dominates with its mineral and salty profile, a perfect expression of the volcanic soils of the Cyclades. The delicate Moschofilero enchants with floral and citrus notes, while Malagousia surprises with its aromatic complexity and structure. Roditis, Savatiano, and Cretan Vidiano complete the varietal mosaic, each representing specific microclimates and traditions.

The Masters of Greek White Wine: Tradition and Innovation

The Tannico selection pays tribute to visionary producers such as Gaia Wines, a pioneer of quality Assyrtiko, and Sigalas, an absolute reference point in Santorini. There is no shortage of refined interpretations from Gerovassiliou, rediscoverer of Malagousia, and the elegant expressions of Alpha Estate from Macedonia, which represent the qualitative avant-garde of contemporary Greek winemaking.
