Perrier-Jouët

The art of Champagne since 1811

Founded in 1811 by Pierre-Nicolas Perrier and Rose-Adélaïde Jouët, Maison Perrier-Jouët represents the essence of elegance and refinement in Champagne. With over two centuries of history, this prestigious house has built its reputation on the exceptional quality of its vineyards, mainly located in the Côte des Blancs, and on an unmistakable style characterised by finesse, aromatic complexity and the predominance of Chardonnay. Its indissoluble link with Art Nouveau, celebrated in the iconic Belle Epoque bottles decorated with white anemones designed by Émile Gallé in 1902, perfectly reflects its production philosophy: to create Champagnes that are authentic works of art, where aesthetic beauty and refined taste come together in a unique sensory experience.

The floral style and purity of Chardonnay

The Perrier-Jouët style is instantly recognisable for its extraordinary floral elegance and vibrant freshness, the result of skilful enhancement of Chardonnay from the best Grand Crus of the Côte des Blancs. Our selection explores the different expressions of this identity, from the classic Grand Brut with its perfect balance to the prestigious Belle Epoque cuvées that represent the pinnacle of the Maison's quality. The typical aromatic profile combines notes of white flowers, citrus fruits and white-fleshed fruits with mineral nuances, supported by a creamy mousse and extraordinary acidity that guarantees freshness and longevity. Technical precision, the result of parcel-by-parcel vinification and meticulous blending, translates into Champagne of exceptional finesse and balance.

From tradition to sustainable innovation

While maintaining a deep respect for tradition, Perrier-Jouët looks to the future with a growing commitment to sustainability. Under the guidance of Chef de Cave Hervé Deschamps and now Séverine Frerson, the first woman to hold this position in the history of the Maison, the production approach combines traditional techniques with increasingly environmentally friendly viticultural practices. Our collection highlights this evolution, presenting Champagnes that authentically express the specific terroir of the House's historic vineyards, particularly the Grand Cru parcels of Cramant and Avize, the true qualitative heritage of the Maison. From the most accessible cuvées to rare limited editions, each bottle of Perrier-Jouët represents a perfect combination of oenological excellence, historical heritage and contemporary vision.
