Tasting Notes

Rubino, con riflessi color granata. Al naso si esprime con sentori di piccoli frutti rossi, note floreali, toni speziati e cenni di tabacco. Al palato è elegante, strutturato, succoso e di lunghissima persistenza.

Pairings

Ottimo in abbinamento alle carni rosse, arrosto, grigliate e in umido, si sposa bene anche con la selvaggina e i formaggi stagionati.

Il Barolo "Arborina" nasce da uve nebbiolo allevate, per l'appunto, nel vigneto "Arborina", a La Morra, sede storica della cantina di Elio Altare; si tratta di vigneti del 1948 e del 1989, coltivati con il minimo intervento umano e in modo il più possibile naturale. Affinato in barriques per 24 mesi, è chiaramente un Barolo di razza, avvolgente, robusto e di piacevolissima complessità.
