Rosso rubino intenso, al naso si percepiscono intense note calde di frutta rossa matura e di spezie accompagnate a profonde note floreali. Al palato è suadente, ricco, avvolgente e dolce grazie alla presenza di tannini pronti, spessi e soffici. Lequilibrio tra freschezza e corpo contribuisce a unottima espressione nel sapore e a una persistenza gustativa lunga ed estremamente piacevole.

È così che nasce Solaia, prodotto con le più selezionate uve di cabernet sauvignon, cabernet franc e sangiovese dell'omonimo vigneto. Un vino mitico, forse il Supertuscan più famoso al mondo, un rosso che viene affinato in barrique per 12 mesi circa e per un ulteriore anno in bottiglia prima della sua commercializzazione.
