Chassagne-Montrachet AOC 2023 - Arnaud Baillot

It’s golden in the glass, intense and broad on the nose with notes of lemon peel, toasted hazelnut, yellow peach and mango, and then amplified with spices and mineral hints of graphite. On the palate it’s full-bodied, juicy and long, animated by a lively acidity. A note of gingerbread lingers until the end.

This important white wine is perfect alongside main courses of fish, poultry, feathered game and delicately spiced recipes of oriental cuisine.

Chassagne-Montrachet AOC by Arnaud Baillot comes from 100% chardonnay grapes hand-harvested in the famous village located in the southern part of the Côte de Beaune. Fermentation takes place in steel at a controlled temperature and refined in wood for a minimum of 12 months. It’s produced in one of the most suitable areas in the world for white wine, and it amazes in terms of complexity and evolutionary potential.
