Brunello di Montalcino DOCG 2020 - Pian delle Vigne, Antinori: Why we like it

Pian delle Vigne is just a few kilometres south of Montalcino, above the Val d'Orcia, and is named after the characteristic 19th century railway station on the estate. A unique place, which is home to about 65 hectares of vineyards cultivated with Sangiovese, the most important variety in the area. It is here that one of the most famous Brunello di Montalcino of the appellation is born. That "Pian delle Vigne" capable of uniting public and critics like few other Tuscan wines.
