Bolgheri DOC "Ruit Hora" 2020 Magnum - Caccia al Piano

Dark ruby red, with a clear balsamic imprint in the nose that gives way to a very complex bouquet with every second that passes. Notes of fruit jam, particularly blackberries and cherries, are joined by scents of black pepper, vanilla, oriental spices and brushwood. Full, velvety and as smooth as it is hot on the palate, it is characterised by a well defined tannic texture. It closes with a finish of rare length on the fruit.

Served with all courses of a meal "Ruit Hora" is the ideal red wine to accompany meat. Grilled lamb chops.

“Ruit Hora” has represented one of the most shining examples of Italian Merlot-based Bordeaux-style wines for more than a decade. Never too invasive, it is a wine capable of playing its cards on particularly elegant and graceful notes. Vinified in steel, it ages in barriques for between 12 and 18 months, followed by at least six months in the bottle.
