BARTOLO MASCARELLO

The Guardian of Langhe Tradition

The Bartolo Mascarello winery represents the most authentic and uncompromising spirit of Barolo. Founded by the legendary “Barolo Boy” and now run by his daughter Maria Teresa, the winery maintains an ancestral production philosophy: traditional vinification in large Slavonian oak barrels, blending of the four historic crus, and a total rejection of barriques. Each bottle is a manifesto of cultural resistance to the standardization of international taste.

Craftsmanship and Uncompromising Purity

Mascarello wines are crystalline expressions of the Langhe terroir, produced in limited quantities using methods that have remained unchanged for generations. Barolo, the winery's flagship wine, is renowned for its austere elegance, aromatic complexity, and extraordinary longevity. The labels, hand-painted by Bartolo himself, and the motto “No barrique, no Berlusconi” testify to the idea of wine as a cultural product and not just a commercial one, a symbol of a Piedmont that stands the test of time.
