Brand

Agriverde, located near the ancient village of Caldari in Abruzzo, obtained organic certification in 1991. Its main objective has always been to operate in an environmentally friendly manner, promoting the excellent characteristics of the Abruzzo region.

The choice was therefore a conscious one from the outset, despite the difficulties that can be encountered on a daily basis, especially when put to the test by the variability of the vintages. At Agriverde, we are constantly striving to maintain an approach to viticulture that aims for the highest quality wines, among which the pecorino and vino passerina certainly stand out.

Agriverde's vineyards are teeming with life and have strong roots that express an authentic connection with the territory. The winery, on the other hand, the beating heart of the production activity, is deep red, recalling the colour of the soil.

Structured to emulate the surrounding landscape, it was designed and built according to the principles of bio-architecture; wood, steel and glass are just some of the elements that make up the building, while paints and glues are natural and environmentally friendly. The large windows on either side of the structure allow the sun's rays to penetrate inside from dawn to dusk and, thanks to the warm yellow colour of the walls, which amplifies the brightness, provide natural light, an indispensable source of energy for human well-being. In addition, the materials used are, as far as possible, natural, from the wooden vault to the numerous wine-making tanks.

The temperature and humidity are constantly monitored to allow the wood to mature perfectly, and natural ventilation is guaranteed by a system of openings connected to the outside of the cellar.
