Bolgheri Rosso DOC "Stupore" 2023 - Campo alle Comete

The nose first perceives fruity notes of cherry and fresh plum, which in the second place are intertwined with more complex hints, vegetal, spicy, toasted and balsamic. Soft and balanced on the palate with fruity notes. Persistent aftertaste with rich aromas and a pleasant fresh finish.

Perfect with meat and with noble poultry in particular, it’s excellent to pair with the stuffed honey duck.

It best represents the tradition of a unique territory. “Stupore” is a Rosso di Bolgheri in which four different international grapes come together, to make up an absolutely excellent blend, a symbol of the highest quality that can be found in the lands of Castagneto Carducci. It sits for ten months in medium-toasted French oak barrels and tonneaux. It’s an extremely pleasant, well-balanced Red, complex on the nose as well as on the palate. Never predictable, never trivial, it’s satisfying and intriguing, it’s a Bolgheri DOC to put among the top of the appellation.
